“Warrior” is just like “Starship Troopers”, except they’re not trying to be ironic… “Don’t tell me who’s wrong and right when Liberty starts slippin’ away…” I got news for you: when the Military says things like this, your Liberty’s already a-slippin_ fast. “and if you ain’t gonna fight, get out of the way…” and if you let crap like this go unchallenged, you’re actively GIVING your freedom away. This whole campaign has “Old Man” written all over it. “Kid Rock, [the Waffle House Warrior], was chosen for this project because of his popularity with the 17 to 24 year old market, said Lt General Clyde Vaughn. Colonel Mike Jones added ‘And he was unapologetic about supporting the Army National Guard recruiting program’.” This is the worst thing I have seen come out of the war’s propaganda departments: “Don’t tell me what’s wrong and right when Liberty starts slippin’ away. If you ain’t gonna fight, get out of the way!” I’m proud to be an American, so I don’t take too kindly to anyone telling me to keep my mouth shut and just do what he says. This is a video I created to introduce the the time period of America after the Revolutionary War to my 4th grade students in South Carolina. It features life during the creation of America’s new government (Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, Constitution, Bill of Rights), famous leaders and political parties, branches of government, and also leads into Westward Expansion. New lands acquired are introduced as well as key pioneers explorers (Daniel Boone, Lewis and Clark, and Zebulon Pike). The fate of the Native Americans and the journey they took on the Trail of Tears also comes into play. Continued west and southwest expansion into Texas, California, and Oregon is featured. Soundtrack music from TJ and the Revo, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Linkin Park, Little House on the Prairie, Liberty’s Kids, Pocahontas, and the Last of the Mohicans is also featured to give viewers a sense of the time period in which these events occurred.
